A Nov. 5 liquidation map puts Bitcoin’s potential long-side intensity at $919 million if it falls below $79,000 and short-side intensity at $337 million if it rises above $82,000, showing a larger downside cluster.
The two readings differ by $582 million, with the downside figure about 2.7 times as high. They describe possible concentrations, not liquidations that have already occurred. The map covers major centralized exchanges.
Bitcoin was $80,332 as of 12:01 UTC Thursday, between the two thresholds. Earlier readings at the same levels were $855 million for longs and $519 million for shorts. The latest long-side figure was $64 million higher than the earlier reading, while the short-side measure was $182 million lower.
A previous EconoTimes report also mapped potential Bitcoin liquidation exposure below nearby support and above $85,000, using different price levels.
The map’s intensity readings do not give an exact contract count or guarantee that the stated dollar amounts will be liquidated. A larger concentration may coincide with a stronger market response if Bitcoin reaches that price area.
