Bitcoin (BTC) finished Saturday at $80,500, $500 above the floor of the $80,000-$86,000 corridor, which held for nine days; its 30-day high-low spread also contracted.
The price rebounded near its 365-day simple moving average, a key downside level. The $86,000 mark set the corridor’s upper boundary, while the close was $500 above its $80,000 floor. Bitcoin’s finish was its lowest level in nearly 30 days.
An earlier Saturday price update put BTC at $80,780 at 1:19 a.m. ET (05:19 UTC), $280 above the later close. The two readings mark separate points on Saturday.
An earlier review of Bitcoin’s October trading tracked it between $79,400 and $85,000 from Oct. 9-21. Compared with that interval, the latest corridor’s lower boundary was $600 higher and its upper boundary was $1,000 higher.
The 30-day spread compares the period’s high and low, while the corridor describes the range Bitcoin occupied for nine consecutive days. The figures capture different windows of recent price movement.
