A break below Bitcoin’s (BTC) Trader Realized Price followed by a failed recovery could leave recent participants with unrealized losses, analyst Trdaer_Gemini wrote in a CryptoQuant Quicktake.

The measure estimates the average acquisition cost of Bitcoin last moved one to three months earlier. CryptoQuant’s analysis says it has often served as a support or resistance reference, without citing specific periods.

Trdaer_Gemini said Bitcoin’s next move around the metric would determine whether it was acting as support for recent buyers. If Bitcoin falls below it and does not reclaim it, recent participants could face paper losses. Holders seeking to sell around breakeven could add resistance, the analysis said. The next signal is how Bitcoin reacts at the level.
