Bitcoin traded at $81,247 as of 19:30 UTC Friday, below the $82,085 level recorded after its Oct. 22 high of $83,470.
The live market snapshot showed Bitcoin down 0.18% over 24 hours. A Binance spot reading on Oct. 19 had earlier placed the cryptocurrency above $83,000.
Akedo (AKE) gained 40.60%, while Pearl (PEARL) had the sharpest listed decline at 13.36%. Later spot data showed Bitcoin down and Ether up over 24 hours.
The Oct. 23 snapshot showed a 0.02% gain over 24 hours. A chart made $0.17 support conditional on a daily close below $0.18.
