Cryptocurrency exchange platform Kraken announced that it has added new international wire options for funding accounts with US dollars (USD), euros (EUR) and British pounds (GBP).
For deposits, the service feature is available in all service areas except the US that is already covered by domestic USD payments. The feature is available immediately for users and the payment type is international SWIFT wire. The fees involved for the deposit is 10 USD / 10 GBP / 10 EUR.
In case of withdrawals, the start time is on 24th April, 2017 and the fees involved is 60 USD / 60 GBP / 60 EUR.
Users can deposit by navigating to Funding > Deposit > USD/GBP/EUR in their account and select the available SWIFT payment option. Users can perform withdrawal by following similar steps.
“Clients in SEPA countries should continue to use SEPA for EUR payments since this is the fastest and most cost effective option in these countries. However, the new funding options are good for clients in these countries wishing to fund in USD or GBP,” the announcement stated for customers from Single Euro Payments Area.
