Bitcoin.com, a leading source for everything Bitcoin related, has announced the launch of a global store for cryptocurrency aficionados.
The Bitcoin.com store is focused on selling high quality crypto merchandise – cryptocurrency-themed apparel, art, hardware, and more – that would help promote digital currency bitcoin “in style”.
“By launching a store selling all sorts of bitcoin paraphernalia, bitcoin.com is clearly establishing itself as the go to source for everything bitcoin related”, said Bitcoin entrepreneur and Bitcoin.com CEO Roger Ver.
Being a strong believer in cryptocurrency and the promise of its future, Bitcoin.com said that store employees are paid in cryptocurrency, along with some vendors. Also, in order to meet the “open source” standard, the platform accepts legacy payment methods and multiple cryptocurrencies besides bitcoin.
“Bitcoin is not only the most secure form of payment, but also has the smallest transaction fees. As we grow Bitcoin Store we want to provide every customer a great experience from the time they purchase the product to the time they receive it”, the web page reads.
Bitcoin.com said that the objective behind opening the store is to raise awareness about Bitcoin in a fun and un-intrusive way. The merchandise offered on the platform has the potential to a conversation starter.
“Our store is focused on creating compelling unique items, that engage conversation, and showcase the passion we share with bitcoin”, said Bitcoin.com contributor Gavin Knight.
Bitcoin.com has already engaged in partnerships with people and projects that are successfully established in the space, as part of the expansion of the website.
“We have included Stephen Macaskill, who has extensive experience with eCommerce and cryptocurrency businesses, as an advisor to our store,” said Knight. “We’re always looking for exceptional projects and people that can contribute to our site and share in our overall offerings.”
