“Black Clover” episode 141 could be a very important installment, especially to the biggest fans of Yuno. Based on its official title, this could provide the untold stories in the manga of how Yuno became the vice-captain of Golden Dawn.
‘Black Clover’ episode 141: Yuno proves his worth
Unlike Asta, Yuno has a tougher time being a Magic Knight in terms of the kind of people he has to work with in his squad. The Black Bull, where Asta belongs, is practically composed of competent and talented misfits. On the other hand, Yuno’s squad, Golden Dawn, is filled with men and women from the noble and royal clans of the Clover Kingdom. As a result, Yuno has often experienced being underestimated and belittled by his teammates even though he wields a four-leaf clover grimoire.
Yuno and Asta are alike, though, when it comes to the effort of proving everyone they are good Magic Knights. So it was not entirely surprising when the manga series casually revealed that Yuno was promoted as vice-captain of the Golden Dawn in a chapter released in late 2019. As fans know, this chapter is included in the current story arc that started following a six-month off-screen training, which is now being fleshed out in anime-original installments including “Black Clover” episode 141.
The brief video teaser of “Black Clover” episode 141 does not reveal much, but it suggests that it would focus entirely on the Golden Dawn. Also, the episode is titled “The Golden Family.”
The preview shows Yuno and Vangeance in separate scenes. In another instance, Mimosa appears to be healing Alecdora. All this suggests that the Golden Dawn could be facing a challenge. Since “Black Clover” episode 141 is part of the story arc the bridges the events from the six-month training to the upcoming attack on the Spade Kingdom, this should fill in the events leading to Yuno’s well-deserved promotion.
‘Black Clover’ episode 141 release date, where to watch
With the possibility, it would be remiss if anime fans dismiss “Black Clover” episode 141 as just a filler. It is then important to keep track of when “The Golden Family” will be released. Luckily, there is no hiatus in sight for the anime, and episode 141 will be released on Tuesday, Sept. 1 that will be simulcast on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
