BOSTON, April 24, 2018 -- Black Ink Technologies, the leading SaaS-based customer and sales intelligence analytics platform for consumer durable goods industry, is proud to announce its recognition by Scott Brinker’s 2018 MarTech Landscape super graphic.
Black Ink is now properly positioned in the Sales Automation, Enablement and Intelligence category, one of the largest and fastest-growing groups of premier software companies.
“As Black Ink continues to innovate with its EyeOn product suite, so has Scott Brinker properly categorized how we provide tremendous value to our customers,” said Jeff Winsper, President at Black Ink Technologies. “Kudos to him and his team for another spectacular year for such a daunting but valuable assignment. We are delighted to be amongst good company with the likes of Oracle, Salesforce.com, IBM, SAP, and Microsoft.”
The 2018 edition, released today, now includes 6,829 technology companies. According to Scott Brinker, he and his research lead Anand Thaker “led the data research for this year’s landscape through his company IntelliPhi.” They also relied on other “resources used in our research to build this graphic: CabinetM, Capterra, G2 Crowd, Google, LUMA Partners, Siftery, and TrustRadius.”
Black Ink had previously resided in the Predictive Analytics category, but this year, this category migrated into other categories due to the speed of innovation. “Well, for one thing, we got rid of the category for Predictive Analytics. It’s not that predictive analytics capabilities have vanished. On the contrary, due to the huge explosion of machine learning, predictive features have been added to hundreds of products,” according to Scott Brinker’s recent blog post.
