DefiLlama data put assets held in Blast’s bridge contracts at $6.51 million on Nov. 3, 84.1% below Oct. 26, but that balance does not measure completed user recoveries.
DefiLlama’s daily UTC snapshots count coins in the bridge’s smart contracts and value them at each reading. The comparison tracks contract balances; it does not establish how much reached users through recovery.
Oct. 26 was the last day withdrawals were available through Blast’s standard website. Blast’s bridge instructions allowed contract withdrawals after the cutoff but required users to submit proof and wait one day; EconoTimes covered the deadline in its earlier coverage of Blast’s withdrawal cutoff.
Blast’s recovery tool lists Ether (ETH), wrapped Ether (WETH) and USDB as eligible, along with transfers to Ethereum that did not complete. Claims are handled through recovery contracts on Ethereum.
Blast tied its Oct. 2 wind-down to operating costs that exceeded revenue and said it saw no sustainable way to continue.
