BOCA RATON, Fla., Feb. 21, 2018 -- Boca West Country Club has launched a partnership with Boca Raton Regional Hospital on a healthy living lifestyle program for its more than 6,000 members. This comprehensive program is tailored to meet the unique needs of the Club’s members and improve the overall health of its residents.
The program’s purpose is to offer the Boca West Country Club community access to the clinical knowledge of over 800 staff physicians, 2,800 hospital employees and its health education and lecture series. The program offers a variety of community-based health education and prevention programs, onsite health screenings and coaching, nutrition counseling and dedicated health navigation services. Members will have access to these services within the gates of Boca West Country Club.
“We strive to provide our members with the most comprehensive and advanced programs available and have devoted many months to our partnership with Boca Raton Regional Hospital. This new program will help our members achieve and maintain their optimal health,” said Matthew Linderman, CCM, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Boca West Country Club. “This is an exciting addition to our existing scope of sports rehabilitation physical therapy services included at the Club’s state-of-the-art Fitness, Aquatics and Spa Center.”
The program offers:
Physician Panels. Boca West members will have access to physician panels in Advancement in Cardiovascular Care, Advancements in Orthopedic Care and Advancements in Neurological Care.
Concierge Health Navigation. Members will be able to use a dedicated concierge line where a health navigator will assist with physician referrals and scheduling appointments, and diagnostic imaging.
Onsite Screening and Coaching Services. Given that preventive screenings are integral to a healthy lifestyle, services such as biometrics (body mass index, blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose), vascular screenings and mobile mammography will be offered onsite at Boca West.
Nutrition Counseling. A licensed dietitian will conduct a comprehensive nutrition assessment, customize a nutrition plan and offer follow up consultations for members.
