“Boruto” Episode 78 will continue with the struggle of Boruto and the rest of the gang against Garaga, a beast that has proven to be more than capable of handling the group’s abilities. This skirmish is going to be an important part for them to develop as shinobis moving forward, OtakuKart reported.
Indeed, the group realizes this and presses on despite the fact that Chocho has already been petrified by the snake. While Garaga’s power may be overwhelming, the beast does have a weakness which the team will then exploit. This weakness comes in the form of the red snake’s movement, which will lead to the beast being cornered in “Boruto” Episode 78.
Of course, a cornered beast is where it's most dangerous, and this is doubly true for Garaga. The personality of the red snake has been portrayed as short-tempered and prone to violent outbursts. It also doesn’t help the team that Garaga has a deep hatred for humans. As such, instead of fighting, Boruto will propose a summoning contract to the one-eyed snake, although this will not occur in “Boruto” Episode 78 but in Episode 77, which will be released on Oct. 14.
“Boruto” Episode 78 will continue with the storyline after the Garaga struggle, which will have the White Snake Sage use his powers on Mitsuki’s serpent. This episode will also reveal that the Ninjas of Hidden Stone is the one responsible for taking Mitsuki.
Apart from this reveal, “Boruto” Episode 78 will also point out the direction in which the Ninjas of Hidden Stone is heading, a location known as Land of Earth. After learning this information, Boruto and the rest of the group will make their way to the region.
Following the events of “Boruto” Episode 78, the protagonists will manage to reach Mitsuki, although Kokuyo will thwart this reunion. The pale-skin shinobi will prove too much for the group and will ultimately defeat them during the skirmish. However, a mysterious figure will then appear to help with the situation. It’s still unknown who this character is but it’s believed he is a powerful individual, someone who is able to hold his own against Kokuyo. “Boruto” Episode 78 is slated for release on Oct. 21.
