The rift between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has yet to heal after the Hollywood power couple decided to split in 2016 on the grounds of irreconcilable differences. Following the breakup, the pair went through a rather messy custody battle that only partially ended last December.
While Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have settled to a temporary custody agreement, the ex-couple is expected to clash once more if recent rumors are to believed. As New Idea would have it, a drama is brewing once again behind closed doors due to the “Maleficent” star taking her brood out to New York without consent from the “Troy” actor.
“Angelina [Jolie] just took off to New York with the kids, and Brad [Pitt] has been left completely blindsided. He feels like she’s taken the kids away from him – again – and is beside himself with worry,” an insider supposedly told the publication.
What’s more, the source is claiming that Shiloh has been miserable throughout the trip and has even contacted Brad Pitt to intervene. Angelina Jolie has taken the children to multiple locations in New York including museums, an escape room; and has even attended a Hamilton performance sometime during the supposed impromptu trip.
As for the divorce case of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the proceedings have yet to make significant headway as both stars figure out how to split their assets that are worth millions. The Blast reported in January that the pair met at an office in Beverly Hills to discuss the issue. However, the publication claims that the exchange went awry at some point resulting in a heated argument between both stars.
No details have been revealed what exactly sparked the fire between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie but it’s sure to play a part in how the divorce case will unfold. With the actor recently attending Jennifer Aniston’s 50th birthday, the divorce battle, and the supposed tension involving their kids, it appears that more drama will surface in the months to come.
