Bunge Global SA kept its 2026 adjusted earnings forecast unchanged after reporting higher third-quarter profit, with adjusted diluted earnings per share rising to $2.56 from $2.27 a year earlier.
The Oct. 29 Form 8-K lists the results under Item 2.02 and includes Bunge’s earnings release as an exhibit. The filing reports net income attributable to Bunge of $318 million, compared with $166 million a year earlier. Adjusted diluted EPS increased 29 cents from the year-earlier quarter.
Diluted EPS from continuing operations under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) was $1.64, up from $0.86. The GAAP result and adjusted measure use different bases, with both showing year-over-year growth.
Adjusted segment earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) totaled $997 million, an increase of $73 million from $924 million. Soybean Processing and Refining and Softseed Processing and Refining posted stronger adjusted results. Tropical Oils and Specialty Ingredients and Grain Merchandising and Milling declined, leaving performance uneven across the businesses. Bunge’s release cited stronger processing results and margin effects associated with geopolitical trade disruptions among the quarter’s segment factors.
Bunge Chief Executive Officer Greg Heckman said the company’s global platform helped it pursue opportunities and manage risk in a complex environment.
Bunge maintained its full-year adjusted EPS forecast at $9.25 to $9.75. The $2.56 adjusted EPS figure covers the quarter, while the $9.25 to $9.75 range is the company’s outlook for all of 2026. The company raised its 2026 net interest expense range to $640 million to $670 million from $620 million to $660 million; the low end rose $20 million and the high end $10 million.
Bunge expects 2026 capital expenditures toward the upper end of a $1.5 billion to $1.7 billion range. Its adjusted earnings outlook remains unchanged alongside the higher interest expense estimate and expected spending near the top of the capital range.
