ByteDance is extending its Seedance 2.5 4K video-generation model to 20 studios and directors worldwide, while about 20 works test the system and one project has a satellite TV airing planned as early as November.
The model’s maximum supported resolution has increased from 1080p to 4K. Volcano Engine said training for the new version emphasizes finer facial cues, subtle movement and visual detail.
For reference-based generation and video editing, Volcano Engine said the model better retains clarity, color and small text from source material. The company presented these as improvements to how the system carries visual information through those tasks.
The 20 studios and directors given access are separate from the roughly 20 works in trials. A satellite TV channel may air one project as soon as November, according to the reported schedule.
The rollout follows attention to video-generation performance. EconoTimes previously reviewed fal’s published generation-time figures for Seedance 2.5 and FLUX 3 Max.
