Austin, Texas, Aug. 31, 2017 -- Campus Advantage®, a leader in student housing, providing property management, consulting, acquisitions, and development services, today announced the addition of 498 beds to its growing portfolio of managed student housing properties, with the addition of a new development, ROAM, located in Missoula, Montana. Campus Advantage has added a total of 3,662 beds to its portfolio since the beginning of 2017.
Currently being developed near the University of Montana in the downtown district of Missoula, and within biking distance to the University of Montana campus, ROAM is the first purpose-built student housing complex to serve the University of Montana. The property will feature amenities that encourage an adventurous, outdoor lifestyle, including bike and ski tuning shop, outdoor kitchens with grilling stations, a fire pit, and an expansive fitness center.
Campus Advantage was sought after to manage ROAM because of its extensive experience with leasing new developments and Catalyst’s successful brand creations and integrated marketing platform. Under the Company’s management, ROAM will benefit from programs that deliver a student-focused experience that inspires and equips residents to thrive in all areas of life. This includes Campus Advantage’s highly regarded Students First® program which is designed to ensure that students who choose to live at Campus Advantage communities have more opportunities to achieve success both now and in the future.
Catalyst, an Austin-based agency specializing in integrated marketing for student and multifamily housing, will also manage the brand development alongside Campus Advantage. The brand will reflect Missoula residents’ love for the outdoors by highlighting that lifestyle and further encouraging students to enjoy the outdoor amenities and central location.
“We couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to partner with Campus Advantage and Catalyst on this project,” said Jim McLeod, Senior Development Partner with Farran Realty Partners. “These companies’ proven success in branding and leasing new developments will be invaluable to us as we introduce this new property to students and future residents near the University of Montana.”
“Campus Advantage is thrilled to bring our value-add branding and property management expertise, as well as our exceptional operations team and training programs, to this new development and its residents,” said Pam West, Vice President of Operations at Campus Advantage. “I am confident that our dedication to maintaining and operating properties to the highest standard will create an environment that future students at the University of Montana and residents of ROAM will love.”
