Polish video game titan CD Projekt Red has declared Sept. 26 as the launch date for the much-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 expansion, "Phantom Liberty." The expansion features Keanu Reeves reprising his role as Johnny Silverhand and introducing Idris Elba as Agent Solomon Reed.
CD Projekt revealed it will release Cyberpunk 2077's expansion titled the "Phantom Liberty" on Sept. 26. As per Reuters, the company made the announcement during the Xbox Games Showcase event that was held on Sunday, June 11.
This will be the first major game release of the Polish game developer since Cyberpunk 2077 debuted three years ago. The company also unveiled the trailer for the coming expansion, and to further heightened the excitement of gamers and fans, the executives disclosed that Keanu Reeves is returning as Johnny Silverhand in the "Phantom Liberty."
They added that Idris Elba would be in the game as well, but he will be portraying a completely new character named Agent Solomon Reed. Gamers are now very curious about the additional character, and definitely, the agent's presence will add more spice to the gameplay.

Return as cyber-enhanced mercenary V and embark on a high-stakes mission of espionage and intrigue to save the NUSA President. In the dangerous district of Dogtown, you must forge alliances within a web of shattered loyalties and sinister political machinations."
Finally, according to Polygon, "Phantom Liberty" is now available for pre-order via Epic Game Store, GOG.com, the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, and Steam. The expansion has a price tag of $29.99 and will be playable on Windows PC, Xbox Series X versions, and PlayStation 5.
