Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) reported a 6.9% year-over-year drop in consolidated profit for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026, while revenue rose and the board approved a second interim dividend.

The company’s Nov. 2 exchange filing describes the results as unaudited. Consolidated profit for the period was Rs 353.66 crore, compared with Rs 379.98 crore in the year-earlier quarter. Revenue from operations reached Rs 2,378.57 crore, up from Rs 2,354.53 crore, or about 1%.

Separate standalone segment disclosures show domestic revenue at Rs 781.43 crore, compared with Rs 773.92 crore a year earlier. The domestic segment result before interest and tax fell to Rs 14.57 crore from Rs 64.42 crore. The filing gives no reason for the segment decline and does not attribute the fall in consolidated profit to the domestic business. The segment figures are standalone; the companywide profit and revenue figures are consolidated.

CONCOR identifies itself as a Government of India enterprise. It describes a rail-centered freight model, with road services connecting shipments at their starting and ending points.

The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) notice for the Nov. 2 board meeting listed a results review and a dividend item. CONCOR was included in EconoTimes’ earlier preview of companies weighing dividends alongside Q2 results.

The board declared a second interim dividend for FY 2026-27 of Rs 1.90 per share, equal to 38% of the Rs 5 face value. The filing puts the total payout at Rs 144.71 crore. The record date is Nov. 11; payment is scheduled on or after Nov. 20 and within 30 days of declaration.
