Chad hosts refugees from Sudan in numbers reaching the hundreds of thousands, while a drone strike killed at least four people in Bamina last week, France 24 reported Tuesday.

The broadcaster said people fled into Chad to find safety and described the conflict as affecting the country. It identified Bamina as a border town.

France 24 correspondent Harold Girard also reported continuing trauma among many people who lived through the El Fasher massacre.
