Singaporean footwear and accessories brand, Charles & Keith, has opened a store in Mexico in its first foray into the Americas.
The store, located at the Artz Pedregal Mall in Mexico City, follows the brand’s latest minimalist design concept introduced this year in Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
The company described its concept store as thoughtfully designed that reflects a contemporary perspective of simplicity and sophistication.
With approximately 700 stores in 35 countries, it is just now that the brand has expanded into the Americas.
Earlier this year, Charles & Keith was reported to be planning to sell a 20 percent stake to potentially raise capital for international expansion.
During the past year, Charles & Keith has been refining its image to attract younger customers. It appointed South Korean star Krystal Jung and rising K-pop brand Izy as its global brand ambassadors. It also became the first Singaporean fashion label to allow cryptocurrency as a method of payment on its e-commerce site.
