In the upcoming episode, Dr. Reese is set to help a troubled teen after she is contacted from a psychiatric facility. Dr. Manning (Torrey DeVitto) will attempt to hurdle complications of her own when she helps the parents of a pregnant comatose girl make a decision about her surprise pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) and Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) will race to save a young girl from Ecuador who collapses mid-flight. They will also help her mother, who made great sacrifices for her daughter.
April will also be dealing with the heavy consequences of her personal life in the upcoming episode. According to Cartermatt, she and Tate had to deal with multiple issues in their relationship mainly due to her work hours and medical problems.
In the previous episode, titled “Lose Yourself,” April received devastating news during her routine ultrasound. Her baby’s heartbeat couldn’t be located and she needed to get a D&C procedure done as soon as possible. At the same time, April tried to help a patient with a failing heart condition.
