CHICAGO, March 07, 2017 -- CloudCraze, the enterprise B2B commerce platform built natively on Salesforce, has added four new leadership positions to its executive team to accelerate platform and business development. On the heels of a $20 million funding announcement, the newly appointed leaders will be major contributors to CloudCraze’s aggressive expansion plans in 2017 and beyond, enhancing CloudCraze’s value and strengthening its market position in the growing B2B commerce industry.
“It’s an exciting time to be part of this organization," said Chris Dalton, CEO of CloudCraze. “Our recent funding round is a testament to the industry’s expectations for the transformative power of our platform and opportunity for continued growth of the business. We have rigorous plans to supercharge our market penetration over the next two years and this group of seasoned SaaS professionals adds to the already talented team of CloudCraze commerce experts who will lead the charge.”
Former executive vice president, Ray Grady, will now serve CloudCraze as president and chief customer officer (CCO). Since joining the company in 2015, Grady has successfully led global expansion in the U.S. and EMEA, playing an integral role in the company’s significant growth. As president and CCO, Grady will oversee customer engagement and success, business development, professional services, and continued European expansion.
Brian Wagner will serve as CloudCraze’s vice president of sales. Coming from previous leadership positions at Salesforce and Oracle, Wagner has a strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and extensive experience managing large enterprise sales teams. Reporting to Grady, Wagner will lead global business expansion, including revenue and sales team growth in the U.S. and EMEA. His deep understanding of enterprise software will be a key asset to support CloudCraze’s growth.
Rob Christensen joins the team as chief technology officer (CTO). Christensen was a key contributor to the development of the CloudCraze technology during its early growth stage when he saw a major market need for cloud-based commerce. His recognition of the value of commerce on Salesforce led to the creation of CloudCraze’s agile, fast and flexible commerce platform. Most recently, Christensen was chief predictive architect at InsideSales.com where he led a team of engineers in building Neuralytics, a multi-tiered predictive analytics engine.
Returning to CloudCraze as CTO, Christensen will lead and oversee CloudCraze’s technology. This includes making ongoing technology advancements, releasing major platform updates three times per year, and developing and delivering on the product roadmap to ensure CloudCraze continues to add value for its B2B customers.
Jay Abraham has been named chief operating officer (COO) for CloudCraze. Abraham has an extensive consulting and technology background, shaping global companies’ operational structures and delivery models. He will use his deep understanding of market drivers, client needs, and industry trends to continue to grow CloudCraze. In this position, Abraham will oversee daily operations, ensuring the right team and processes are in place to scale and support CloudCraze’s global customer base.
These leadership additions and promotions will be an important part of additional expansion plans over the course of 2017. To learn more about CloudCraze, visit www.cloudcraze.com.
