Coal India declared a ₹10.25 second interim dividend for financial year 2026-27 and set Nov. 4, 2026, as the record date that determines which shareholders qualify. The dividend applies to each equity share with a face value of ₹10, the company said in an Oct. 29 filing to Indian stock exchanges.

The Audit Committee recommended the payout at a meeting on Oct. 29, and Coal India’s board declared it that day. A BSE notice had put quarterly and half-year results, along with a possible dividend, on the board’s agenda for the meeting. EconoTimes previewed the agenda in an earlier report.

Coal India gave Nov. 27, 2026, as the latest payment date but did not specify when the transfer would occur. It said the payment will go electronically through a channel approved by the Reserve Bank of India. The company asked shareholders to update know-your-customer (KYC) information with depository participants to enable transfers into bank accounts.
