CoinDCX’s October Ether (ETH) forecast overlaps a separate estimate for the month-end close from Sam Daodu, editor of 24/7 Wall St.’s Crypto Desk, though the figures measure different outcomes.

CoinDCX published a $2,450 target on Oct. 23, within its projected October band of $2,300 to $2,550. In a 24/7 Wall St. article published Oct. 24, Daodu estimated an Oct. 31 closing range of $2,313 to $2,548.

CoinDCX’s figures describe a monthly target and range; Daodu’s estimate concerns the final close. Their overlap does not make them a shared target.

Daodu cited ETF withdrawals and the postponement of Glamsterdam’s Hoodi testnet activation as limits on a recovery, and said holders would face an October loss under his outlook. CoinDCX said a daily close below $2,300 would mark Ether’s first close below its 200-day moving average since a mid-August breakout. It identified the Federal Reserve’s Oct. 27-28 decision as the next catalyst.
