A Coinbase Ether (ETH) order-book snapshot on Oct. 25 put sell orders about $7.97 million ahead of buys, showing that visible interest in this book favored sellers at the time.

Asks totaled about $20.03 million, compared with $12.07 million in bids. The reported gap accounted for 24.81% of total displayed order-book depth. Here, depth refers to the combined dollar value listed on each side.

The largest cited order contained 4,200.01 ETH. At $2,372, it represented about $9.96 million in sell-side value; the book's midpoint was $2,326.30, making the ask 1.96% higher.

These numbers describe orders visible in the book, not completed transactions. They cannot establish how much Ether actually traded.

The balance differed from a Coinbase spot-book reading on Oct. 21, when bids stood about $1.83 million above asks. That earlier snapshot listed $12.27 million in bids and $10.44 million in asks, with Ether quoted at $2,452.55. The two captures offer separate views of listed Coinbase orders at different times.
