Displayed sell orders exceeded buy orders by $14.65 million in Coinbase’s Bitcoin (BTC) spot book on Oct. 24, a snapshot of available liquidity rather than completed trades.
The spot book listed $33.17 million in sell orders against $18.52 million in buy orders. Bitcoin was quoted at $80,646 in that reading.
The figures put a dollar value on listed bids and asks, but do not count individual orders. That time-stamped view of book liquidity cannot establish Bitcoin’s later price performance.
Sell-side depth also exceeded bids on Binance’s spot venue and the perpetual markets at OKX and Hyperliquid. Each had less displayed value on the sell side than Coinbase.
A separate Coinbase spot-book reading on Oct. 18 showed an $8.63 million sell-side lead.
