Coloplast said fiscal 2025/26 organic growth was 6%, while reported earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) before special items fell 3%, with the measure’s margin narrowing to 26%.
The company published its Annual Report and Remuneration Report on Tuesday, Nov. 3, for the year from Oct. 1, 2025, to Sept. 30, 2026. Results released a day earlier showed revenue in Danish kroner rose 4%, after currency movements reduced growth by 2 percentage points.
EBIT before special items totaled DKK 7,447 million, up 4% at constant currencies. On a reported basis, it declined 3%, and its margin fell to 26% from 28%. Coloplast cited about 100 basis points of currency pressure and a further 40 basis points of pressure from Kerecis, Impact4-related investment and higher inflation in the fourth quarter.
Organic growth ranged from 2% in Wound & Tissue Repair to 8% in Voice & Respiratory Care. Continence Care and Interventional Urology each grew 7%, while Ostomy Care increased 5%. Net profit before special items reached DKK 5,566 million, up DKK 418 million from the adjusted prior-year figure, and adjusted diluted earnings per share rose 8%. Free cash flow as a share of sales was 22%, compared with 19% a year earlier, excluding acquisitions and divestments.
For FY 2026/27, Coloplast expects organic growth of 5%-7% and an EBIT margin of about 25% before special items at constant currencies. Its forecast for reported revenue growth in Danish kroner is 7%-9%, including an estimated 2-percentage-point benefit from currencies. The company expects inflation and production ramp-up costs in Portugal to weigh on gross margin, while higher investment is expected to affect operating expenses.
Coloplast lowered its annual organic-growth ambition toward 2030 to 5%-7% from 7%-8% and set an EBIT margin target in the mid-20% range. It linked the revised growth ambition to U.S. biologics reimbursement changes, healthcare reform-related pricing pressure and inflation.
A company program intended to free up about DKK 500 million is expected to deliver roughly 75% of its impact in FY 2026/27, with the full impact in FY 2027/28, Coloplast said.
