Metals are marginally down today. Performance this week at a glance in chart & table -

Gold -

  • Gold continued to test support around $1080 once again today, finding resistance around $1095. Today's range - $1094-$1083.
  • Gold is likely to range trade with downside bias, however a sustained push below $1050 seems unlikely.
  • Focus is on NFP report tomorrow.
  • Gold is currently trading at $1092/troy ounce. Immediate support lies at $1060 and resistance at $1120 area.

Silver -

  • Silver is slightly better performer than gold today, focus is on FOMC today. Today's range $14.76-14.5
  • Silver is currently trading at $14.74/troy ounce. Support lies at $14 & resistance at $16. $15 is likely to pose interim resistance.

Copper -

  • Copper is consolidating around $2.35 area. Focus is on NFP report tomorrow. Today's range $2.36-2.33.
  • Next target is around $2.24.
  • Copper is currently trading at $2.34/pound, immediate support lies at, $2.2 & resistance at $2.65.
