The Democratic Republic of Congo’s main opposition coalition urged broad political talks after five leaders met in Rome, as it faced pressure to respond to Joseph Kabila’s rebellion, France 24 reported.
France 24 said the C64 leaders met Tuesday in the Italian capital to discuss the country’s situation. The outlet reported that they rejected a forcible seizure of power and advocated a political process involving a wide range of participants.
