SAN MATEO, Calif., March 23, 2018 -- Coupa Software (NASDAQ:COUP), a leader in business spend management (BSM), was named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide SaaS and Cloud-Enabled Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Applications 2018 Vendor Assessment. Among the 11 vendors evaluated, Coupa is recognized as a leader for capabilities and strategies.
This is the third time Coupa is being recognized as a leader in an IDC MarketScape report. Earlier this month, Coupa was named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide SaaS and Cloud-Enabled Travel and Expense (T&E) Management 2018 Vendor Assessment (Doc #US43569218). And in January, Coupa was named a leader in the inaugural IDC MarketScape: Worldwide SaaS and Cloud-Enabled Procurement Applications 2018 Vendor Assessment (Doc #US42219917).
For the P2P applications report, IDC MarketScape selected the vendors based on a market survey, as well as its own independent research, to ensure that vendors’ procure-to-pay systems qualified as SaaS or cloud-enabled and were already serving numerous enterprises.
Coupa, according to the IDC report, should be considered by businesses of any size if they need “a holistic and extremely encompassing, unified procurement platform including procure-to-pay that is available anywhere and anytime.”
“We’re proud to be named a Leader in three separate IDC MarketScape reports, across procurement, travel & expense management, and procure-to-pay. This recognition further validates our commitment to deliver measurable value for our customers,” said Rob Bernshteyn, CEO, Coupa. “All of our BSM solutions are built on a cloud platform, which makes it easy for organizations to manage their business spend in a comprehensive manner in one place.”
References for Coupa, according to the report, have noted the following areas of measurable business value:
- High return on investment
- A unified cloud platform that extends to ERP and is configurable without IT or consulting expertise
- Rapid adoption rates as learning is easy and intuitive within the system and is mobile-enabled
Born in the cloud, Coupa is a BSM platform that “may be configured meeting the needs of businesses from small and medium-sized business to multinational large global enterprises,” according to the IDC MarketScape report. Coupa accelerates business by unifying processes across the various ways employees spend money. These processes cover procurement, invoicing, expense management, supplier management, strategic sourcing, contracts, risk management, analytics, and more. Using the Coupa Open Business Network, the platform has connected more than 3 million suppliers and delivers a powerful solution for businesses committed to controlling their spend.
