Whale Alert logged two USD Coin (USDC) mints totaling 500 million tokens on Solana on Oct. 20, but the records alone do not establish a net supply change across blockchains.

The entries were timestamped 3:47 p.m. ET (19:47 UTC) and 3:49 p.m. ET (19:49 UTC), with listed values of $250,092,875 and $250,092,125, respectively. Both name the USDC Treasury as recipient. EconoTimes previously covered the two mints.

Circle says its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol burns USDC on one blockchain before minting the same amount on another. The alerts show no later transfers to exchanges or other holders and do not establish a change in trading liquidity; any subsequent movement remains unverified.
