Cysic's announcement offers to let the recipient retain 30.652 Ether (ETH) if 275.872 ETH tied to an unauthorized mint of 10 million CYS is returned within 72 hours.
Under the terms, the recipient would return about 90% of confirmed ETH proceeds to an address chosen by the Cysic Foundation and could retain the remaining 30.652 ETH, or about 10%. Cysic said its 72-hour clock starts when the notice appears on-chain.
The split would give the recipient a reason to return most of the proceeds and let Cysic recover the larger share. Cysic said its review had pieced together key elements of the exploit and that it retained technical records and blockchain evidence.
Cysic said it would pursue a full criminal investigation and seek law-enforcement involvement if the requested return did not arrive within 72 hours.
