Soccer legend David Beckham is releasing his first NFT collection via DigitalBits thereby becoming the latter’s global ambassador.
DigitalBits claims that its blockchain is a green alternative to Ethereum and other blockchains.
The David Beckham brand is enormous and spans the globe with over 138 million followers on Instagram. His interactions equate to over 9 billion annually.
There is yet no official date for the David Beckham NFT collection’s release, although it is said to be coming soon.
Beckham said the NFT deal is a major opportunity to create new online experiences for his fans.
Beckham, the former captain of England’s soccer team, hopes to capture the attention of the 3.5 billion people who watch football worldwide with his NFT collection.
