For the three months through Sept. 30, 2026, Deepak Nitrite’s consolidated net profit was Rs 397.67 crore, 234.9% above the year-earlier level, with Phenolics providing the main lift, company filings showed.
The board approved unaudited results on Oct. 29. The filing showed revenue from operations at Rs 3,076.37 crore, compared with Rs 1,901.89 crore a year earlier, a 61.8% increase. A company presentation put quarterly earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) at Rs 643 crore, up 187% from Rs 224 crore, and the margin at 20.8%, against 11.6% a year earlier.
Phenolics recorded revenue of Rs 2,291 crore, 72% higher than a year earlier, and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of Rs 515 crore, a 256% increase, according to the presentation filed with the National Stock Exchange of India. Advanced Intermediates brought in Rs 811 crore, up 38%, while its EBIT rose 112% to Rs 49 crore.
The company linked Phenolics’ performance to disrupted import flows, higher costs for international freight and lower product availability in India, saying those conditions gave local producers a competitive edge. Advanced Intermediates, however, contended with aggressive pricing from overseas sellers, costlier raw materials and energy, rising export transport charges, and slower ordering in some agrochemical applications.
NDTV Profit reported quarterly EBITDA of Rs 626.8 crore and a 20.4% margin, compared with Rs 204.3 crore and 10.7% a year earlier. The company presentation did not reconcile its figures with NDTV Profit’s report.
Phenolics generated Rs 933 crore in EBIT during the first half of fiscal 2027, exceeding its previous full-year peak of Rs 867 crore in fiscal 2022, the company said. Chairman and Managing Director Deepak C. Mehta said favorable domestic conditions supported Phenolics and called its performance “an extraordinary performance.”
Deepak Nitrite scheduled an earnings call for Friday, Oct. 30, at 6 a.m. ET (10 a.m. UTC).
