Dell Technologies has introduced recovery planning for AI applications and new identity-system protections, giving organizations added options to prepare critical systems for recovery after disruptions.
Under the Resilience Operations for AI service, Dell specialists assess which AI capabilities matter most to an organization, then develop recovery policies and procedures. Their work produces a prioritized plan identifying applications to protect and methods for recovering them. Dell announced the service Oct. 27.
PowerProtect now includes recovery features for Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Okta. Dell says the tools are designed to return those platforms to a reliable state after an incident. The company describes identity platforms as gateways to infrastructure, data and applications.
Dell also added conversational controls to the PowerProtect AI Assistant for managing assets, recovery work and reports. Human approval is required before actions are carried out, the company said. Dell cited the concentration of sensitive information and added attack paths in AI environments, along with the risk that identity systems may be overlooked in recovery planning. The service and related PowerProtect capabilities are available now.
