‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ chapter 203: Tanjiro resists turning into a demon

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba / Facebook

Despite Muzan’s death, his fight against Tanjiro will continue in some form in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 203. This time, however, the fight will be rage inside Tanjiro’s body as there will now be two opposing forces who will vie for its control.

The first camp belongs to Muzan’s will. The demon, sensing that his time is almost up when his Giant Baby form was hit by sunlight, decided to pass his cells along with all of his will, his hope and his goal to Tanjiro.

“My flesh will soon crumble in the sunlight but my feelings are also undying and eternal,” Muzan said to himself. “I will entrust all of my feelings to this child.”

The demon poured all of his power and blood into Tanjiro’s remaining live cells reviving the latter. Muzan had high hopes for Tanjiro, who will technically become his successor.

In fact, Muzan believes that Tanjiro will eventually surpass him once he becomes a full demon. The reason for this is that unlike Muzan, Tanjiro won’t be affected by sunlight which is Muzan’s biggest weakness.

But Tanjiro’s transformation into a demon will be bad news for all members of the Demon Slayer Corps. “In my place, you must destroy the demon slayers.”

Unfortunately, Tanjiro did just that. As his transformation deepened, it appeared that he can no longer distinguish friend from foe as he attacked Inosuke, Giyu, and Zenitsu.

However, Tanjiro won’t just give up control of his body just like that. After battling against demons for most of his life, he would resist turning into a demon with everything he’s got in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 203.

In fact, he was already fighting against the transformation in the recent “Demon Slayer” manga chapter, which can be read on Mangaplus. Zenitsu noted that Tanjiro did not really harm Nezuko, which suggests that he is still his demonic tendencies.

Fortunately, the drug that will change demons back into a human has already been injected into Tanjiro. In “Demon Slayer” chapter 203, the drug will start to take effect slowly bringing Tanjiro back into a human.

Unfortunately, the wait for “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 203 release date will be a bit longer this time. The manga will be on a hiatus next week, which means that the next manga installment will arrive on April 26.
