Coinglass data showed the long side’s share of Dogecoin (DOGE) dollar-margined futures position size fell more sharply than the proportion of top-trader accounts holding long positions on Nov. 2.
The dollar-margined long-position share was 74.92%, down 2.08 percentage points from the previous day. Long positions appeared in 75.82% of top-trader accounts, a decline of 0.04 percentage point. Both readings remained above 70%, but the position-size measure recorded the larger daily drop.
The two percentages capture different aspects of futures positioning. One reflects the portion of top traders’ futures position size on the long side; the other counts the share of top-trader accounts that held long positions. An earlier EconoTimes explanation of these futures measures provides more context. This snapshot covers dollar-margined contracts.
Dogecoin traded at $0.0754, down 0.56% over 24 hours, as of 12:08 UTC on Nov. 2.
