Dogecoin (DOGE) saw its 50-day average cross below the 200-day measure on Oct. 28, 23 days after an upward crossover, forming a chart signal known as a death cross.

Binance’s daily DOGE/Tether (USDT) record for Oct. 28 lists a 0.0798 USDT close at 7:59 p.m. ET (23:59 UTC). The Oct. 5 upward cross occurred when DOGE closed at 0.0954 USDT.

At an Oct. 16 checkpoint, the 200-day average was 0.0874 USDT, below the 50-day reading of 0.0882 USDT. The previous daily death cross took place Nov. 10, 2025.

A death cross forms when the shorter-period average moves beneath the longer-period one. The 50-day and 200-day labels reflect the time spans in each average; this calculation used completed daily closes. The crossover records a past price relationship and cannot by itself establish DOGE’s next move.
