On display in Drone Nerd’s booth, #731, attendees and guests will see and learn firsthand the many benefits of the FUSE Tether System. FUSE, designed for the DJI Inspire 2 and Matrice 200 (M200) professional drones, can extend flight duration in commercial applications making it ideal for security and monitoring of facilities such as power plants, ports, and bridges as well as for use by public safety, law enforcement and newsgathering organizations.
The FUSE Tether System, launched earlier this year, is an automated smart winch tethering system designed to meet the unique specifications of DJI’s most popular commercial drones. Utilizing proprietary onboard and ground power systems coupled to an automated “Smart” winch system, the FUSE Tether System maximizes drone use by dramatically and affordably increasing drone flight time with uninterrupted power from the ground, facilitating long duration flight operations.
“FUSE was created to cost effectively bring the benefits of our military-tested tethering technology to commercial drone users who are seeking to add safe, long flight duration to their commercial drones. Reaction to FUSE has been gratifying and we are pleased with feedback and initial orders received, evidence of the growing global interest in our tether system from both commercial end users and potential channel partners who seek to fly longer and improve the productivity of their flight operations,” said Jay Nussbaum, Chairman and CEO of Drone Aviation.
