Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) reported a 7% year-over-year rise in gross revenue to AED 18.6 billion for the first nine months of 2026, citing higher gross funded income as a driver.

Net financing assets reached AED 287.1 billion, up nearly 10% year to date. The bank’s combined net financing and sukuk investments stood at AED 372.1 billion, up 6% year to date.

Customer deposits grew 1% year to date to AED 323.5 billion. Total assets rose 3% year to date to AED 427 billion, as DIB cited financing activity and customer relationships among the supports for its performance.

Profit after tax totaled AED 5.6 billion, compared with AED 6.6 billion before tax. Operating revenue rose 3% to AED 9.9 billion, and operating profit before impairment charges increased 4% to AED 7.1 billion.

The bank reported a nonperforming financing ratio of 2.4% and a cost of risk of 25 basis points for the period. Its Common Equity Tier 1 ratio stood at 13.4%, while its capital adequacy ratio was 16.5%.

DIB also pointed to two transactions that broadened its funding sources. Orders for a $1 billion Additional Tier 1 sukuk exceeded $2.3 billion. Its first syndicated Islamic financing facility, sized at $750 million, attracted about $1.2 billion in commitments.

The bank reported about 1.2 million active digital users and said 97% of customers transacted digitally. It also originated AED 6.7 billion in sustainable and sustainability-linked financing during the period.

DIB Group Chief Executive Officer Dr. Adnan Chilwan said the bank would focus on customer service and efficiency as it pursued growth through the rest of 2026. He said DIB was expanding access to financial services across its consumer and wholesale businesses.
