YS Lootah Robotics has opened a Dubai showroom for humanoid and other robots, The National reported, while Dubai separately pursues a 10-year program to expand robot use across several sectors.
The National described the site as the UAE’s first dedicated humanoid robotics showroom. It reported that 28 robots were present for the Nov. 6 opening, including five humanoids that demonstrated their capabilities and played football with children. The outlet also reported that more than 4,000 people watched a livestream. YS Lootah Robotics’ website confirms a Dubai showroom and lists humanoid, quadruped and service robots.
The company says it is an official UAE distributor for Pudu Robotics and offers selected robots from Unitree and AgiBot. Its listed services include demonstrations, deployment and training.
In September 2022, Dubai’s government unveiled an initiative spanning services, logistics and industry, with a goal of putting 200,000 robots into use within 10 years. The Dubai Media Office says the effort is intended to improve efficiency and productivity and raise robotics’ contribution to Dubai’s GDP to 9% over the same period. The target covers robotics broadly, not only humanoid machines.
International Data Corporation (IDC) estimated that nearly 25,000 humanoid robots shipped worldwide from January through June 2026, 432.1% more than in the same period a year earlier. It valued the market at more than $740 million, a 322.7% annual increase. Research and education, performances and displays, and government data centers accounted for 69% of first-half shipments, compared with 83.8% across all of 2025, IDC said.
Grand View Research’s Horizon Databook estimated UAE humanoid robot market revenue at $7.4 million in 2025 and forecasts $156.8 million in 2033. Its projection implies a 40.62% compound annual growth rate from 2026 to 2033.
