NEW YORK, March 08, 2016 -- Rosen Law Firm, a global investor rights law firm, announces the filing of a class action lawsuit on behalf of purchasers Cigna Corporation securities (NYSE:CI) from February 27, 2014 through January 21, 2016, all dates inclusive (the “Class Period”). The lawsuit seeks to recover damages for Cigna investors under the federal securities laws.

According to the lawsuit, Defendants throughout the Class Period issued materially false and misleading statements to investors and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Cigna’s appeals and grievances procedures were not in compliance with federal standards; (2) Cigna’s noncompliance with federal standards posed a serious threat to the health and safety of Medicare beneficiaries; and (3) as a result, Cigna’s public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.
A class action lawsuit has already been filed. If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the Court no later than April 6, 2016. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation.
