Egide Group’s French unit returned to profit in the first half of 2026, helping the group cut its net loss to €0.87 million despite a reported revenue decline.

Egide supplies sealed packages and interconnection systems for sensitive electronics. Its board approved the consolidated results Oct. 16. The figures follow French GAAP and are unaudited.

Revenue was €15.20 million, compared with €15.58 million in the first half of 2025. Egide recorded a 2.4% decline on a reported basis, but calculated a 0.7% increase after removing exchange-rate changes.

Egide SA generated €10.03 million in revenue, 28% more than a year earlier. Its EBITDA reached €2.05 million after a €0.27 million loss in 2025, and the subsidiary recorded a €2.01 million net profit, reversing a €1.48 million loss.

Egide linked a 33% revenue drop at its U.S. unit, to €3.80 million, to delays in some customer programs. The unit posted an EBITDA loss of €0.82 million and a net loss of €1.25 million. Santier recorded €1.38 million in revenue, alongside EBITDA and net losses of €1.33 million and €1.64 million. Production there stopped at the end of April, and the San Diego site closed at the end of August.

Group EBITDA was a loss of €0.08 million, narrower than the €0.21 million loss a year earlier. The operating loss decreased to €0.67 million from €1.38 million. Without Santier, Egide would have recorded €1.25 million in EBITDA and €0.77 million in net profit; the comparable figures a year earlier were €0.50 million and a €1.17 million net loss.

Net financial debt stood at €4.988 million on June 30, down from €5.414 million on Dec. 31, 2025. Cash and cash equivalents rose to €2.779 million from €1.983 million. Egide said lower inventories helped reduce working-capital requirements by €1.02 million and supported cash generation. Before working-capital changes, operations used €0.24 million in cash.

Egide is moving Santier’s package assembly work to Cambridge, Maryland, where qualification is underway. The company expects the transferred activity to add revenue gradually from 2027, once it qualifies at the facility. Egide’s next scheduled financial update is its 2026 annual revenue, due Jan. 29, 2027.
