“Elite” season 3 is one of the most anticipated teen drama, so even if the second season was only dropped in September, fans want the next installment as soon as possible. This is because the finale of the previous season is so intriguing that they could not wait to see what’s next in the storyline.

It also left a lot of unanswered questions like why Polo was able to come back to Las Encinas, Spain’s most exclusive private school where the elite enroll their children to study. The last episode titled "0 hours missing" the synopsis reads: “Lu and Valerio's father catches them in an explicit situation. It is revealed that Samuel did not disappear but was hiding in Guzmán‘s grandparents’ house to trap Carla into confessing about Marina‘s murderer.”
Also, Polo was arrested as he was found to be the real culprit in Marina’s murder. While Ander and Omar reconciled, Guzmán breaks his friendship with the former because he hid what he knows about Polo and his horrible deed. Despite his crime and the fact that he was already arrested, Polo reappeared, and this baffled everyone.
Netflix renews show
“Elite” season 3 got its renewal order just weeks after Netflix released season 2. As said earlier, the second installment was posted in September, and by October, the streaming giant confirmed the coming of the third chapter. As the news of renewal arrives, it was also announced that the show is getting new characters.
Ester Expósito (Carla Caleruega), one of the cast members of “Elite” season 3, relayed that Leïti SèneLeiti and Sergio Momo have been added and they will play Yeray and Malick, respectively. Apparently, they will be new students in the school of the elites, and they will join the regular cast that includes Itzan Escamilla (Samuel Dominguez), Miguel Bernardeau (Guzmán Osuna), Alvaro Rico (Polo Benavent), Mina El Hammani (Nadia Shanaa) and more.
Release date
Netflix has not revealed a date of release yet, but based on predictions via Newsweek, “Elite” season 3 is coming in August 2020. Filming is also complete; thus, it will not be long when fans hear an announcement coming directly from the said leading streaming platform.
