Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin Welcomes Jennifer Jones, DVM to Their Team

AUSTIN, Texas, March 20, 2016 -- Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Jennifer Jones to their staff. Her presence will increase the ability for the Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin to serve pet owners and their pets in the city of Austin and surrounding areas with even more care, focus and expertise. 

Dr. Jones received her DVM in 2011 from the St. Matthews University School of Veterinary Medicine of Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands and completed her 4th year clinical rotations at Oklahoma State University. Since then, she has practiced veterinary medicine in the San Marcos, Austin and the New Braunfels areas, working in small and mixed animal hospitals. Wanting to work in a fast paced emergency practice, she joined the staff at Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin in February of this year.

The staff is professional, highly trained and compassionate, and Dr. Jennifer Jones came on board in part due to her embodiment of these qualities. She will be working closely with referring regular veterinarians to provide comprehensive emergency care in a professional manner.

In her free time, Dr. Jones loves to spend time with her husband as well as their four “fur-children” Zulu, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, Byrdie, a Great Dane, Carl the cat, and Daisy, a Quarter Horse. She also loves to travel and be out in the in the great outdoors as much as possible, where she enjoys hiking, water sports and spending time on the family ranch in West Texas.

With two locations serving Austin, the Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin is committed to providing Austin pet owners access to excellent emergency and critical care.  For over 30 years we have offered after-hours urgent care and now 24-hour critical care at our north location.
