MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 22, 2018 -- Epoch Lacrosse, a U.S. design and technology company that specializes in lacrosse, proudly announces its partnership with professional lacrosse player, Jarrod Neumann. After an impressive collegiate career at Providence College, Neumann now plays professionally for Major League Lacrosse (MLL) team, the Florida Launch.
“Jarrod has such a unique background in lacrosse and the Epoch team has been continually impressed by his quality of performance and ability to pick up the game after just five short years of playing,” said James Miceli, principal at Epoch Lacrosse. “We’re thrilled to begin working with Jarrod and utilize his position in defense to advance our gear and technology while continuing to create high-quality gear for our elite athletes.”
The partnership includes an agreement where Epoch Lacrosse will provide equipment to outfit Neumann. Neumann will be playing with Epoch’s latest shaft, the Epoch Dragonfly Eight carbon fiber shaft, the prequel head and will be protected by custom Epoch Integra gloves, arm pads and shoulder pads.
Neumann was drafted 25th overall in the 2017 MLL Collegiate Draft and made his professional debut against the New York Lizards this season with one ground ball. During his collegiate career, Neumann was named to the All-BIG EAST First team three times and the Inside Lacrosse Media All-American Third Team honors. During his senior year in 2017, Neumann was named as the Big East Defensive Player of the Year, NEILA All-New England First Team honors, NEILA Academic All-New England honors and the USILA All-American Second Team honors.
“As I’m just starting out my career, I’m excited and fortunate to work with the team at Epoch and can’t wait to engage with the brand in so many unique and impactful ways,” said Jarrod Neumann.
