JCDecaux reported 6.6% organic revenue growth in the third quarter, topping its July outlook as digital advertising gains helped lift the outdoor advertising group’s overall results.
Revenue reached €1,010.5 million, compared with €926.1 million a year earlier, for reported growth of 9.1%. In its Nov. 4 trading update, the company said organic growth was about 5% in its July outlook. Its trading-update total includes JCDecaux’s share of revenue from companies it jointly controls. On an International Financial Reporting Standards basis, revenue was €935.9 million after a €74.7 million adjustment under IFRS 11.
JCDecaux calculates organic growth after removing currency movements and changes in business scope. The measure still reflects revenue changes from contracts won or lost. The company said digital growth and the 2026 FIFA World Cup supported the quarter, but did not give a separate revenue figure for the tournament.
Digital out-of-home revenue rose 18.5% on a reported basis and 15.3% organically, accounting for 45.4% of total revenue. Programmatic revenue, which is sold through automated advertising systems, increased 37.5% organically and made up 13.3% of digital revenue.
Each of the company’s three business activities grew organically. Transport increased 7.7%, Street Furniture rose 7.3% and Billboard gained 1.4%. JCDecaux attributed Transport’s growth to double-digit increases in the United Kingdom and North America; the Rest of the World declined at a high single-digit rate amid the conflict in the Middle East. Billboard revenue included a low single-digit decline in France, which the company linked to inventory rationalization.
For the first nine months of 2026, revenue totaled €2,964.5 million, up 6.1% on a reported basis and 6.0% organically. JCDecaux expects organic revenue growth of about 6% in the fourth quarter. JCDecaux has scheduled its 2026 full-year results for March 11, 2027.
