Ether (ETH) fell 2.14% in a four-hour Binance spot snapshot on Oct. 16, while a separate one-hour tally on three exchanges showed long liquidations far above short liquidations.

At 1:15 p.m. ET (17:15 UTC) Oct. 16, Binance's ETH/USDT spot market quoted Ether at $2,413. It was $52 below the $2,465 quote from four hours earlier; the four-hour move was a 2.14% decline.

The separate 24-hour reading showed a 1.24% loss, 0.90 percentage point smaller than the shorter-period decline. The two rates reflect distinct lookback windows.

Across Binance, Bybit and OKX, the one-hour liquidation total was $7.61 million. Long ETH positions made up $7.51 million, about 98.7% of that sum, against $100,000 for shorts; the long amount was roughly 75 times higher.

In EconoTimes' Oct. 15 Ether liquidation report, the asset had lost 5.86% over 24 hours, while its one-hour long liquidation total across the three exchanges was $7.13 million.
