Coinglass data for Nov. 6 showed futures positioning shifting unevenly across major crypto assets, with Ether (ETH) leading gains among top-trader accounts in dollar-margined futures and XRP recording the largest rise in coin-margined position share.

Among top-trader accounts in dollar-margined Ether futures, 80% were net long, up 23 percentage points. Among top-trader accounts, Bitcoin (BTC) had a 77% long share, up 17 percentage points; XRP was at 79%, up 4.83 percentage points; and Solana (SOL) was at 80%, up 2.89 percentage points.

Position-size readings in dollar-margined contracts showed a separate pattern. Ether's long side made up 68% of position size after an 8.93-percentage-point gain from Nov. 5, while Bitcoin's share rose 2.66 percentage points to 68%. XRP's measure slipped 0.17 percentage point, Solana's fell 2.31 percentage points and Dogecoin (DOGE) declined 0.46 percentage point. Ether and Solana each had 80% of top-trader accounts net long in dollar-margined futures, yet their position shares diverged: Ether's rose and Solana's fell.

For coin-margined positions, XRP's long side reached 83% after a 10.26-percentage-point increase. Bitcoin and Dogecoin gained 1.07 and 1.09 percentage points, respectively, and Ether edged up 0.09 percentage point. Solana's position share dropped 1.82 percentage points.

Among top-trader accounts in coin-margined contracts, XRP's long share advanced 2.29 percentage points to 88%; Bitcoin's increased 2.14 percentage points to 82%; and Ether's rose 2.32 percentage points to 83%.

An account share measures the proportion of top-trader accounts holding long positions. A position share measures the long side's fraction of futures position size, so a change in one reading does not mean the other moved by the same amount. The gauges give separate views of participation and exposure, a distinction EconoTimes previously outlined in coverage of Bitcoin futures positioning.

At 7:12 a.m. ET (12:12 UTC), separate spot-market data from CoinGecko and exchanges put Ether at $2,239.30, down 7.23% over 24 hours, and XRP at $1.20, down 8.90%.
