Coinglass data showed Ether (ETH) options open interest at $5.57 billion Saturday, while a Binance put led turnover as calls held only a narrow edge in daily trading.
The snapshot was taken at 7:21 a.m. ET (12:21 UTC) Nov. 7. Options trading volume over the previous 24 hours totaled $682.71 million. Open interest reflects contracts that remain active; volume records trading activity during a set period.
Calls accounted for 62.11% of open interest, compared with 37.89% for puts. In 24-hour trading, calls represented 52.45% of volume and puts 47.55%. The reading is part of the daily options series covered in EconoTimes’ Nov. 6 report on Ether open interest.
The most-traded contract was a Binance $2,050 put expiring Nov. 8. It was followed by a Binance $2,350 call with the same expiry and a Binance $2,150 put expiring Nov. 9.
Deribit contracts led by open interest: a $3,200 call and a $2,200 call, both expiring Dec. 25, followed by a $2,000 put expiring Nov. 13. The leading Binance put is due to expire Nov. 8.
