CHICAGO, April 05, 2018 -- Family Office Exchange (FOX), a global learning and networking community of enterprise families and their key advisors, will offer a Public Webinar entitled “Strengthening the Relationship Between Trustees & Beneficiaries” on April 18, 2018 at 1:00 pm CDT. The webinar will share best practices trustees and beneficiaries can use to become better prepared, more confident in their roles, and equipped to develop a strong working relationship with one another.
Amy Hart Clyne, Executive Director at FOX, and Mariann Mihailidis, Managing Director of Councils at FOX, will explore the critical responsibilities that both trustees and beneficiaries should be prepared to take on for the successful sustainability of a trust.
“Being appointed a trustee is a tremendous honor,” says Mariann Mihailidis. “But it comes with very real responsibilities and exposure to liability. We will cover much of what a trustee needs to know, starting with the importance of having a productive working relationship with the beneficiary.”
Although trusts are a vital and prominent component of family wealth planning, training to prepare trustees and beneficiaries for their responsibilities is hard to find. This webinar will provide an overview of the type of training needed to preserve the integrity of the trust.
